Growing up, I studied ballet for 12 years. Ballet taught me about movement and balance, and trained my eye to evaluate color, line, and symmetry. It was the study of dance that sparked my interest in becoming a makeup artist, and because of this I began doing performance/stage makeup for my fellow ballet company members at a young age. I have nearly ten years of experience working on theater/stage makeup and am always excited to work with dancers and actors.
I graduated from the University of Oregon in 2007, where I took classes in theater design, costume design/production, and makeup design. Since graduation I have been doing bridal, portrait, and special occasion makeup in the Portland area. I am particularly talented at clean and natural-looking makeup. I am able to do slight hair and personal styling as needed.
